NCDOT Nominates Streamline for Certificate of Merit

North Carolina Department of Transportation Nominates Streamline for Exemplary Performance on Newton Equipment Shop Construction Project

NEWTON, N.C. The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation has nominated Streamline General Contractors for a Certificate of Merit for their contribution to the construction of the Newton N.C. Equipment Shop. The nomination recognizes the Streamline project team for “contributing greatly to the success of this project with an exemplary overall performance.”

Donnie W. Smith, Project Manager of the Facilities Design Section cited the Streamline team in a December letter to the State Construction Office Director, Gregory Driver.

The Contractor Evaluation feedback recognizes the Streamline team for several achievements. Accountability, professionalism and client focus were the first three items mentioned in the request.

Mr. Smith noted in closing the nomination, “Streamline performed at or near the highest possible level throughout every phase of the project. The overall quality of its construction management organization and workmanship was outstanding to the degree that Streamline received one of the highest contractor evaluation scores we have ever given.”

Alan Demaske, LEED AP and Director of Commercial Operations for Streamline expressed his appreciation for the recognition. “We deeply appreciate the nomination for our team’s contribution.
